Global Ocean

The animation displays the temperature and near-surface velocity changes simulated by Global-FVCOM under the climatological forcing and initial conditions.
The animation displays the changes in the tidal elevation and currents simulated by the early version of Global-FVCOM.
The animation displays the changes in the global monthly-mean temperature and sea ice over the period 1978-2016. The simulation was done using the improved version of Global-FVCOM.
The animation displays the variability of the global surface waves in 2017. The simulation was done using the improved version of Global-FVCOM with wave-ice coupling.
The animation displays the trajectories of particles released in the upper 50 m of the global ocean. The flow used for tracking is from the Global-FVCOM field under the climatological forcing and initial conditions.
